About me

Thanks for landing here, you are very much welcome! Currently, I hold a PhD in Astrophysics from Durham University in the UK. I'm mostly a Physicist but In the last 5 years, I've been working on Data Science and Data Engineering related projects. Some of these projects include handling huge amounts of data and apply clustering analysis for one of the largest Specstrocopic surveys of all the time, the DESI survey. Others include data processing, from ETL, DBMS, to the creation of WEB APIs.

I have a passion for solving problems, and thanks to my background as Physics researcher, I have a broad experience in carrying my own projects. Let me help you and together we can find the best solution to your tasks or problems.

Details of some of the projects I've worked on.

Data Classification/cleansing In this project I worked with the DESI collaboration to create the biggest catalogue of Bright Galaxies to serve as main catalogue for the Spectroscopic telescope to point out at the sky.	LSVI WEB API A WEB API to classify galactic objects and save results in a database.	SMARTBRICKS Mobile and PC App developed in Python to create lego-like mosaic bricks from an image.
Kiwifruit Tree modeling This project was a collaboration with PlantTech Research Institute Limited, a company based in New Zealand. The goal was to create a software to measure canopy features of the kiwifruit orchards using a Point Cloud Data from LiDAR technology.
